Dr. Haruo Arita specializes in advanced treatment for variety of spine and pain conditions.  He completed his residency training at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School followed by Pain Management fellowship training at UCLA Medical Center. Throughout his career at UCLA as a teaching professor for a decade, he treated various complex pain conditions with most advanced and state of the art treatment.  Dr. Arita is passionate about utilizing minimally invasive treatment with least stress to patients' body and to improve the quality of lives. Dr. Arita's goal is to help people manage their pain and resume more normal productive lives.

 

 

Dr. Arita is licensed and board certified in Japan and U.S. Dr. Arita has practiced pain medicine and trained pain doctors in both countries for years. With his unique professional career, Dr. Arita believes in personal touch and the aspect of concierge medicine. At clinic, patients are only seen by him and never been seen by a nurse practitioner, physician's assistant or junior doctor in training. After careful examination, every patient is given detailed explanation of the cause of pain as well as best possible treatment plan for pain relief and functional improvement. Dr. Arita always spend time for answering questions and concerns until satisfaction. Dr. Arita believes that when you understand the nature of your pain, you are better prepared to manage.
